Au cours de son r\u00e9cent s\u00e9jour sur l’\u00eele de Mar Lodj, Claude Biardeau (membre du CA)\u00a0a fait\u00a0des rencontres int\u00e9ressantes et riches de r\u00e9flexions quant \u00e0 notre implication future.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Claude a ainsi \u00e9chang\u00e9 avec les instituteurs de Mar Fafako et Mar Lothi\u00e9, les deux plus grands villages de l’\u00eele, environ 2000 habitants chacun.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A Mar Fafako, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la disponibilit\u00e9 d’un enseignant, il a pu s’enqu\u00e9rir des conditions de travail et d’\u00e9tudes des \u00e9l\u00e8ves et des instituteurs.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

L<\/span>‘\u00e9cole compte 800 \u00e9l\u00e8ves et…12 instituteurs. La classe\u00a0de cours d’initiation (avant le cours pr\u00e9paratoire) est\u00a0d\u00e9doubl\u00e9e, matin et apr\u00e8s midi, pour accueillir tous les enfants du village.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Si les \u00e9l\u00e8ves ne semblent pas manquer des fournitures de base n\u00e9cessaires, en revanche, les livres et cahiers d’exercices manquent. Ces derniers \u00e9tant r\u00e9utilis\u00e9s …plusieurs fois.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

A Mar Lothi\u00e9-\u00a0aussi appel\u00e9 Mar Lodj, du nom de l’\u00eele elle-m\u00eame- l’\u00e9cole publique\u00a0est fortement concurrenc\u00e9e par l’\u00e9cole catholique qui accueille une majorit\u00e9 des enfants du village o\u00f9 les communaut\u00e9s musulmanes et chr\u00e9tiennes cohabitent paisiblement.<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

L’\u00e9cole publique de 6 instituteurs,\u00a0scolarise 180 \u00e9l\u00e8ves d’\u00e2ge primaire -le village compte 2000 habitants comme Mar Fafako\u00a0o\u00f9 seule, une\u00a0\u00e9cole publique\u00a0existe.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Originalit\u00e9 dans l’\u00eele, cette \u00e9cole, poss\u00e8de aussi une maternelle neuve\u00a0\u00e0 3 classes, dont la construction a \u00e9t\u00e9 financ\u00e9e par une association fran\u00e7aise.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
